Grantham and District Model Boat Club has been in existence since 1968 and since moving to Wyndham park in the town centre, has thrived. The club water is a converted outside swimming pool which has been turned into a purpose built boating lake 57 m long by 16-25 m wide. The club interests are Scale, Fast Electric, Yachting and Steam. Their web site presently does not seemm to be available (November, 2009).
